2 years ago today, the Miami Heat beat the San Antonio Spurs 95-88 in GM7 of the 2013 NBA playoffs to win back-to-back NBA championships. LeBron had 37 points and 12 rebounds, Dwyane Wade had 23 points and 10 rebounds and Chris Bosh and Ray Allen had…..never mind (0 combined points).

After the game and series, many Heat fans were already buzzing about a 3-peat and most figured this would be the last time we ever see Duncan, Parker and Manu in the NBA finals again.  As we all know, we did see the San Antonio Big 3 back in the finals – beating the Miami Big 3 and preventing them from having a 3-peat – an accomplishment that happened 22 years ago today when Michael Jordan and the Bulls beat the Suns in 1993.
