When you are down by almost 20 in the 3rd quarter and looking at a 4th straight loss, anything that can make the home crowd feel better about buying tickets that night is a good thing. And that good thing on Monday night was 19-year old Suns rookie Marquese Chriss aka Baby Amar’e Stoudemire throwing down a windmill dunk on his way to a career-high 20 points on 8 for 12 shooting. The high-flying former Ballislife All-American even knocked down two of his four 3-pointers, grabbed 6 boards and had his 3rd consecutive game with two steals while playing limited minutes.
Hopefully this game will help get Chriss some extra time on the court. When he plays 30+ minutes, he’s guaranteed to score in double figures and put up numbers.
- Vs Grizzlies (34 minutes): 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 3-pointers, 2 steals
- Vs Heat (31 minutes): 18 points, 6 rebounds, 2 3-pointers, 2 steals
