Bernie Bickerstaff has been named the interim coach of the LA Lakers today and there’s not a whole lot of exciting video to show of Bernie but there is a great time capsule Halftime Report video from 1987 about Bernie as well as some other interesting news on some current coaches.

We have Kevin McHale pulling a Ron Artest going after a heckler in the crowd. Nate McMillan in the playoffs.  Larry Brown staying at Kansas to continue coaching future #1 pick Danny Manning and some drug and gambling investigations involving a few players most notably the late Dennis Johnson.

Then we have the feature about the long road Bernie traveled before becoming the head coach of the Seattle Supersonics.
