Ballers want to be rappers and rappers want to be ballers. In the case of rapper 2 Chainz, he was a baller long, long before we knew him as a rapper. Even long before some of his fans knew him as Titi Boi in a group called Playaz Circle.
Back in the mid 90s, 6’5 Tauheed Epps was a high school basketball star at North Clayton High in College Park, GA – above is some rare footage of Epps that ends with a nice Isaiah Thomas self-pass dunk. His skills on the court took him to Alabama State and Virginia State University but his off the court skills took him places on the court he probably never dreamed would happen.
In 2015, he got to play against and beat Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins in a game of H-O-R-S-E and on March 27th, the Hawks organization appointed him CEO for a day as they celebrated 2 Chainz night.
