Two days after sitting out with an injured left knee, right elbow and both hips, Allen Iverson scored 51 points in an OT loss to the Toronto Raptors.
“I’d rather have one or no points and come out with a win,” a disappointed Allen Iverson said after the game.
The Raptors were led by Vince Carter, who once again didn’t disappoint an NBC audience with 39 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, a dunk on Theo Ratliff and a red-hot third quarter that saw Carter score 10 straight points and the Raptors 21.
“That was fun, the kind of game you want to be in,” Carter said. “Of course, it’s always better if you win.”
