On July 24th, 2008, at the age of 50, basketball legend and former WNBA coach & GM Nancy Lieberman signed a 7-day contract with the WNBA’s Detroit Shock. She only played 1 game and only had 2 assists in the loss but it was another impressive milestone for the hall of famer nicknamed “Lady Magic.”
A year later she became the assistant GM and coach of the D-League’ Texas Legends.
