The Lakers had a 21 point lead early in the 3rd quarter and then Steve Nash and the Suns came alive in the 2nd half and forced OT…then double OT…and then triple OT, to give us one of the most exciting games of the season.

After a combined 276 points, LA eventually came out victorious behind a season-high 42 points, 12 boards and 9 dimes from Kobe Bryant.

“We’re the champs,” Bryant said. “We’ve got a lot of mental toughness, and we just keep on fighting. It’s not anything new.”

Steve Nash led the way for Phoenix with 19 points and 20 assists and Lamar Odom had the quote of the night after the game.

“I’m tired. I want to go home. I’m in the mood for pancakes.”
