We knew this was going to be an epic game just from the setup storylines going into the NCAA Championship match between Louisville and Michigan.  Kevin Ware’s injury.  Jalen Rose trying to reunite the Fab Five. Luke Hancock.  Rick Pitino’s election to the hall of fame, horse going to the Kentucky Derby and promise to players that he would get a tattoo if they won a championship.

The game didn’t disappoint and will go down as one of the greatest college games of all-time and when it was all said and done Kevin Ware was cutting the net, Pitino became the first coach to win national titles at two schools and the rest of the Louisville players like Peyton Siva were thinking about what tattoo coach should get.   The championship win also ended a 27 year drought, 2nd biggest ever, between titles for the school.

Let’s relive the epic night with the best sights and sounds from it.
