2nd round pick Norman Powell continued to play well for the Raptors. On Monday, the former UCLA standout had a team-high 19 points on 7 of 11 shooting. 3 of those 7 came off of impressive dunks.

After 3 games, the 6’4 guard is averaging 19.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals while shooting 56%.

“Nothing’s ever been given to me, so I play with a big chip on my shoulder,” Powell said to NBA TV after Sunday’s game vs the Bulls. “I come out here trying to prove (to) everybody that passed up on me here in the draft … that I belong.”
