This play by Tyreke Evans ranks up there with Caron Butler’s pointless trick/steal on Jonas Valanciunas at the end of the Clippers/Raptors game. With the 14 seconds left of a double OT game between the Kings and Heat and a 12 point deficit, Tyreke Evans stole the ball from a casually dribbling DWade at half court and went in for a wide open layup to make it a 10 point loss instead of a 12 point loss. Well, I think divine intervention happened and Evans missed the freebie.
Evans did put up a nice line of 26pts 4rebs and 4ast but the two superstars of Miami put up a combined 79pts, 16rebs and 23 assists. Evans did have 5 steals but I bet he wished he would of stayed at 4.
