Now this is how you end a spectacular season: scoring 53, 50 and then 61 points!

The 61 by Michael Jordan vs the Human Highlight Film and his Hawks made MJ the first player since Wilt Chamberlain to score 3,000 points in a season; Wilt did it three times, including a season with 4,029 points.

The closest a player has come to reaching the 3K club since is Kobe Bryant in 2005/06, when he fell 168 points short. 168 might not sound like a lot but if you were averaging 30 points a game, then you would need another six games.

The 61 also allowed him to join Wilt as the only other player to ever score 50+ in three consecutive games. Kobe would make this club 20 years later.
