JNguyen put together this entertaining montage of the “dumbest/worst” plays in “NBA History” although it mainly focuses on the past couple of seasons.  If you are wondering how many Javale clips would be in it, he mentioned in the description that if he “included all javale mcgee dumb clips it would be like a 15 min video” so you will just have to look up old eps of Shaqtin a Fool for that.

For pre YouTube era clips, he added Darrell Armstrong’s layup from the NBA dunk contest and this always gets unfairly mentioned.  Armstrong was coming off an injury and Shaq and Penny campaigned hard to get him into the contest although the 5’11 guard wasn’t close to being 100%.   The format of the contest back then was do a dunk routine and make atleast 3 dunks within the time limit and Darrell missed a bunch of his tough dunks and when the buzzer was about to go off, the tired Armstrong, just put up a layup.   Now that you all know the story you can stop picking on Armstrong – one of the best chase down shot blockers in NBA history not named LeBron.
