5 Reasons You Should Be Jealous of Klay Thompson | Hello Hannah!
“I’m not going to lie, it’s a great feat,” Thompson said. “It’s something I’ll look back on one day and say, ‘That’s cool.'”
What’s cool is signing a big a$$ contract and backing it up with a big game against one of your childhood idols who plays for a team your father played on! If that’s not worth bragging about and something to be proud of, what is (visuals coming)?
“It was like the rising star at that position going against the guy who’s been the best for 15 years,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “It was fun to watch.”
After signing a $70 million extension, one half of the Splash Brothers, Klay Thompson, put up a career-high 41 points on 14 of 18 shooting against Kobe and the Lakers in front of a home crowd of over 19k people. Klay’s best play of the night came during a 3rd quarter when Klay ran to the 3-point line, hesitated, drove to the basket and gave Kobe a Kobesque pump fake move which resulted in a and-1 play on Bryant.
If putting on a move like that on your childhood idol wasn’t enough to brag about, what is? Maybe the gold medal he won this summer? Maybe because he’s becoming the best 2-guard in the league? Maybe because he has a really, really good looking (Zoolander voice) girlfriend (I can’t confirm this but if Klay denies it then he deserves to be traded to the Pistons) named Hannah Stocking? I know you want to see pics of her more than Kobe and the other half of the best backcourt in the NBA so here you go.
For you hoop fanatics that just want to see more sweaty men running around the court then you might enjoy these pics and vids instead.
But first let’s recap the 5 reasons (no the 5 pics of Hannah were not the 5 reasons) why you should be jealous of Klay.
- He just signed a massive extension worth $70 million over the next 4 years
- He’s arguably the best 2-guard in the NBA
- He’s part of the best and most exciting backcourt in the NBA
- He had a career game against his childhood idol and team his father played on
- Hannah Stocking!
