The Cavs 5’8 2nd round pick Kay Felder generated some buzz during the NBA combine with his 44″ max vertical, then generated some noise during the summer league when he was putting up big numbers – 22 points in one game; 3 blocks and 6 steals in another; 13 points in a 4th quarter – at the point guard spot for the NBA champs.
It’s obvious Kay has the skills and tools to be a standout player at any level but at 5’8, he’s going to need to be smart and bring something more to the table to stick with the NBA champs. And that’s why he’s been working out and learning from Cavs’ vet Mo Williams and Lucky Legend at the Mo Williams Academy in Texas.
