After attending multiple events, a pool party, a baseball game, and putting on a concert within a few days in Houston, Rapper/Raptors Ambassador Drake hosted the first annual Houston Appreciation Weekend Celeb game on Sunday. The game featured many of H-Town’s most known rappers and featured a halftime tribute to Houston’s Rap-A-Lot founder J-Prince.
James Harden was also in attendance for all of the festivities which also included a 3-point and dunk contest by TJ Ford’s AAU basketball team. The dunk contest was won by high flying Jordan Jackson (the son of WNBA legend Sheryl Swoops) who beat out the 14 year old 8th grade phenom Jalen Preston (you are going to be hearing that name a lot in the future).
Check out photos from the game after some bonus footage of the 3 point and dunk contest.
