Check out the new colorways for the lightest shoe in basketball, the adiZero 2’s which are set to be released on May 24th exclusively at Foot Locker. Robbie Fuller, the designer of the shoe sat down with Gus Johnson at the adizero Crazy Light 2 global launch in Los Angeles and discussed how the adizero Crazy Light 2 was developed to be the lightest shoe in basketball.
However it doesn’t just stop at light for the The adizero Crazy Light 2’s. The shoe was also developed with an increased SPRINTFRAME and updated SPRINTSKIN to make it stronger than its predecessor. Here’s designer Robbie Fuller telling us more about it.
After watching Jrue Holiday of the Philadelphia 76ers show off how light delivers playoff series wins, adidas asked fans to share what light gets them on the basketball court. Now, fans can visit the adidas Facebook page and get their high school involved to earn votes to become the biggest and brightest name in the NBA playoffs. Each vote helps both fans and their entire high school’s chance of seeing their names appear in adidas’ massive outdoor projection during the NBA playoffs. Check out this customized video featuring the Airplane Boys’s latest track “Beau Monde” for a sneak peak at how your name could look in lights.
