Adidas just made a HUGE offer to the Houston Rockets’ swingman James Harden. Harden & Nike’s relationship may be coming to an end after the contract between the two recently expired. According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, adidas offered Harden a contract with the numbers of $200 million for 13 years. If Harden were to take the deal it would mark a significant change in the footwear industry and of course the long rivalry between the swoosh and three stripes. The deal would pretty much lock Harden in with the three stripes for the rest of his career. Although Nike still has a week to match the offer of $200 million.
You think Harden should change the game up with three stripes or stick with the swoosh? Will Harden be next in line for a signature sneaker with adidas? Will Nike match the offer or just let him walk & focus on the upcoming stars such as Anthony Davis & D’Angelo Russell? So many questions to this fiasco!
