Carlos Morais is one of the 3 players that were just invited by the Toronto Raptors to compete for a final roster spot. During the 2013 AfroBasket tournament the 6’4″ shooting guard from Angola led his team to a championship with a MVP performance.
Morais scored 24 points (along with 10 turnovers) against the USA in the 2008 Olympics and if he makes the Raptors cut he will become the first player from Angola to ever make the NBA. If that happens, I would love to hear original Dream Team member Charles Barkley answer the question “Do you know anything about Carlos Morais?”
