I’m sure this isn’t the first time it’s ever happened but I’ve never seen a needed 3rd jumball to start a game until last night’s Boston and Indiana game.
After falling on his butt on the 2nd toss, Amir Johnson didn’t even bother jumping with Ian Mahinmi on the 3rd. He did make up for it in the game with a strong double double of 14 points and 18 rebounds in just 29 minutes. The Celtics also got the win.
Between this highlight and Amir swatting Robin Lopez’s shoe earlier in the week, he’s looking like a strong candidate for the upcoming episode of Shaqtin’ a fool.
