After calling out his teammates for not being competitive this past weekend, Rudy Gobert continued his hot shooting and lead by example with a dominant performance in a win against Anthony Davis and the Boogie-less Pelicans on Monday.  Playing without All-Star Gordon Hayward, the defensive player of the year candidate had five blocks to go with 20 points on 8 for 11 shooting and 19 boards.

“We could feel the energy tonight. Everybody was communicating,” said Gobert, who had six points, six boards and four blocks in the opening quarter and has made 31 of his last 39 shots. “Everybody was active. They made a run in the third, but we stayed together. We worked. We outworked them and were able to get stops and buckets the other way.”
