The Pacers only got 12 points from Paul George, 1 more point from the entire bench and didn’t get a double double out of Roy Hibbert (11/7) but behind 17 & 8 assists from Lance Stephenson and a game-high 29 points from David West, the Pacers were able to eliminate the Wizards in GM6 with a 93-80 win.

“When David West has that look, when he’s assertive and he demands the ball, I know we’re in good hands,” said George. “He’s never failed us when he’s given us that look and he’s told us in the huddles, ‘Get me the ball.'”

“With all the adversity, we kept pulling together,” West said. “Guys just showed unbelievable grit, unbelievable toughness.”

After scoring a total of 45 points in GM5, the Wizards’ John Wall and Bradley Beal only scored a total of 28 points.

“Nobody expected us to be here,” Wall said. “I think a lot of teams respect us now. We definitely made Indiana earn it.”

The Pacers will face the Miami Heat in the Conference Finals.
