As a long-time Allen Iverson fan, I wish I had an answer for all of AI’s problems. Back in April, I even wrote a post called “A Positive Article About Allen Iverson in 2013” just because everything being said about Iverson was so negative despite being honored by the 76ers back in March.
Well, the deserved negative press is back and this time it looks like Iverson’s next stop will be more undesirable to AI than AA meetings, NBA D-League for the Mavs or another streetball tour in China. Rolling Out is reporting that Iverson’s failure to pay child support ($40k total / $8k a month) for his 5 kids could land him jail.
The kid in me wants to see Iverson get out of this mess but the adult parent in me wants to see Iverson show responsibility or face punishment.
