It took less than a minute into Allen Iverson’s Hall of Fame induction interview for the 6’0 icon Kevin Durant once called “pound for pound the best player ever,” to explain why he’s going into the Hall of Fame.

“I wasn’t a point guard. I was a killer.” replied AI when the interviewer referred to him as one of Larry Brown’s point guards.

A killer. A label many, many NBA defenders of the past would agree with when it comes to the 11 x All-Star and 2001 MVP – including 9 x All-Defensive 1st teamer Michael Jordan, who happened to bump into AI on a plane after the announcement (how crazy would it be to see MJ and AI on a plane?).

In honor of this moment, let’s revisit the infamous crossover on Jordan.
