Allen Iverson Watches The Warriors Win The NBA Finals, Explains Why He Wanted KD To Win

Here's an exclusive clip from the Big 3's Allen Iverson documentary 'Ballin' Again.' In it, the former MVP gives his thoughts about the players involved while watching the final seconds of the 2017 NBA Finals.

"LeBron's the best in the world. But sometimes, the better team beat you. They got beat by the better team. It happened to me before." Said Iverson, referencing his 76ers that gave the Lakers their only playoff loss in 2001.

"I love Kyrie. I love Tyronn Lue (insert your step-over joke here). You know what I mean. But I wanted to see Durant win, because he ain't never did it. I love his mama. I love everything he stands for. That's the only reason why I was going for Golden State. I wanted Durant to feel what I never got the chance to feel and they deserve it."

Iverson then mentioned a few other deserving greats from his era who never got a ring.

"I wanted Barkley to feel it. I wanted Ewing to feel it. Because LeBron's gonna win some more. He's gonna do it."

IVERSON VS KYRIE IRVING

Speaking of Kevin Durant and Iverson, here's a video clip from 'The Jump' with the ESPN crew discussing KD's recent statement about Kyrie Irving being better than the player he once called "pound for pound the best."

“Kyrie is better than AI to me." Said KD during an episode of The Bill Simmons Podcast. "I’m going from like skill for skill. His handle is better. We might have to cut that out—I don’t want no problems with AI. Y’all might have to cut that one. I don’t want that to get out. I’m just saying I feel like Kyrie got more skill.”

I'm going to have to go with 'The Jump' crew on this one. I don't want no problems with my favorite uncle but his skills on offense doesn't outweigh Iverson's skills on defense and most importantly, his heart and willingness to play a regular season game like it was Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
