The Nuggets played without Ty Lawson, Danilo Gallinari tore his ACL in the 2nd quarter, Faried barely scored in double figures, Chandler and McGee under double figures and Iggy was cold all night hitting only 2 of 12 shots but somehow the Nuggets were just down by 1 with 7.7 seconds left.  That’s 2 seconds more than what Andre needed to cross Vince Carter and go to the basket for a game winning layup.  This win gives Denver their 19th straight home win!

A big reason why the Nuggets were in the position to make a game winner was their defense.  They held Dirk to 13 points on just 10 shot attempts and Vince Carter and OJ Mayo combined for just 15.
