“I felt great. I couldn’t do anything wrong today,” Bynum said after the Pacers’ 94-83 victory over the Celtics. “All the rebounds came my way. I just grabbed them.”
Bynum had a team high 10 rebounds and also scored 8 points in his first game in over 2 1/2 months. He made his Pacer debut with 4:22 left in the first quarter and quickly scored 4 points, first 2 on a dunk, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out an assist in those 4 minutes.
“He had an opportunity and he took advantage of it tonight,” West said. “He’s going to make the game simple from my perspective when he’s on the floor. We’ve got to play through him offensively. He’s solid.”
Bynum’s 16 minute debut was impressive but he did a little “wrong” with 3 turnover and fouls but considering the amount of time he’s played in the past couple of year’s that’s not that bad.
