With Kevin Martin injured and only 10 “healthy” bodies to play with, somebody had to step up for the TWolves and last night former #1 pick Anthony Bennett did his best by scoring a career-high 20 points against the Spurs. Bennett also had 3 boards, 3 steals and an assist in 32 minutes.
Yeah the Spurs won by 29 but Minnesota fans need something to be excited about.
As for this year’s #1 pick, Andrew Wiggins had 14.
“It’s a process,” Wiggins said. “It’s a long season and everyday I’m learning and getting more comfortable with different things, different situations.”
