If you are wondering where those brows..sorry brow, is going, it should be going to New Orleans next month for the NBA All-Star game.
AD has been great all year long and last night he followed up his 22 point 19 rebound 7 block performance with a dominating 30 point 7 rebound 8 block one in a win against the Cavs.
This was Davis’ 3rd 8+ block game of the year and earlier in the year, he became the youngest player since KG to record back-to-back 8+ block games.
“This was just another game, but it’s cool that people are talking [about making the NBA All-Star Game]. I’m just trying to get better every single day and make the right decisions when the pressure comes.” said Davis about the All-Star chatter.
The Cavs #1 pick Anthony Bennett must have been inspired by the play of the previous #1 pick because he put up a career high 15 points in 31 minutes. He also had 8 boards and made 50% of his shots including 2 3-pointers. It’s been 12 games since AB shot 50% and made more than 2 shots in a game.
Let’s hope AB builds on this and continues to find inspiration in AD’s game because there’s a lot in his game to be inspired by.
