All summer long, coaches, players, bloggers, fantasy pickers, and whoever else watches basketball has been gushing about Anthony Davis’ potential and predicting a big season for him this year.

He didn’t disappoint in his season debut when he dominated the Orlando Magic and effed around and almost got a triple double with a game-high 26 points, 17 rebounds (9 offensive) and 9 blocks.  If those apples weren’t enough to make a few fantasy drafters really happy last night, AD also had 3 steals and 0 turnovers.

Worth noting is all the big men in this game had great fantasy nights. Davis’ teammate Omer Asik had 14 & 17 and Orlando’s Nikola Vucevic had 15 & 23!
