Before the NBA drafted started, the electric Aquille Carr posted a picture of a NBA Spalding basketball on Facebook and wrote,

“Just want all of my family, friends, and fans to know that no matter what happens the grind never stops. Praying for a phone call tonight and if that doesn’t happen it doesn’t mean anything is over. I’m 20 years old and got a life to live.”

The 5’6 Carr who showed flashes of brilliance during his time in the NBA D-League last season, didn’t get that call but according to, he did a call from the Saint John Mill Rats of Canada and is in the process of a finalizing a deal to play in the CNBL.

Carr’s deal with the Saint John Mill Rats holds an escape clause should the 20-year-old become drafted in next season’s D-League draft, a source said.

Everybody at Ballislife is wishing the best for the former Ballislife All-American.
