The Delaware 87ers might have lost their season opener to the Canton Charge but they might have found a way for people to want to watch D-League games.  High school phenom and 2013 Ballislife All-American Aquille Carr scored 15 points, hit 3 3-pointers and handed out 2 assists in his D-League debut.  His shot was off (4-13) and he was a turnover machine (6) but the highlight machine also produced one nice highlight.

The 5’6 “Crimestopper” was the 43rd pick by the 87ers  in this month’s NBA D-League Draft.  Carr spent the summer playing overseas with players like T-Mac and Jason Williams with the NBA Legends tour and then declined a contract from the Chinese team Qingadao Double Star so he could stay closer to his 1 year old daughter.

Expect a lot more D-League highlights on Ballislife over the next few months.
