“We hung in there,” OKC coach Billy Donovan said after the Thunder win over the AD-less Pelicans. “Obviously, Russell had another really efficient game. He did some very, very good things.”
Very, very good! Like 43 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists in 36 minutes good. Like 14 of 25 from the field good. Like, pretty much, what we have been saying on a nightly basis from Beastbrook good.
As for teammate and Shaqtin’ a Fool legend Dion Waiters….he did some very, very bad things. Like 2 of 10 shooting bad. Like missed a wide open layup bad.
Props to Waiters for being able to laugh at himself and for playing pretty good over the past week. With the exception of Wednesday night and his 3 of 11 game against Boston. Waiters has scored 14+ in 4 of his last 6 games which included a 25 point game against the Wizards.
Now that we are done praising him, let’s watch that missed layup again and them compare it to this embarrassing open court layup fail.
