At the end of the 3rd quarter, Ben Gordon had 40 points and was 8/8 from behind the 3-point line.  I was thinking with a quarter left, he should end up with 10 3-pointers but probably won’t be 10 for 10 like Ty Lawson was a year ago.  Then again, maybe he does have a shot at Dennis Scott or JR Smith’s 11 or possibly even Kobe & Donyell Marshall’s record of 12. Maybe he will also get 50 points.

Well, none of that happened. He did finish 9 for 9, tying Latrell Sprewell, but he also pulled a Sprewell at the buzzer and the Pistons lost.
