“It was awesome,” Curry said of the fans during Team USA’s 114-55 win over Finland. “They were energetic regardless of the score. Seemed like every basket Finland made was like a game-winner.”

The problem for Finland, making their World Cup debut, was they didn’t make that many baskets. They even went the entire 2nd quarter without making 1 of their 17 attempts.

“We kind of talked a little on the bench a little bit, ‘Hey, everybody remember when we scored the last time?'” Finland forward Kimmo Muurinen said.
