First off, how awesome is it that the students at Bishop McGuinness High School are called “Villains?”
Last week the Villians were taking on the Bears (how boring) of Mount Airy and were down by 1 with 2.2 second left on the clock in OT. That’s about enough time for Taj Gibson to make 3 game winners from under the basket but the problem here was a Bear was shooting a free throw and whether he makes it or not, the Villains will have to make a hail mary shot or somehow get the ball to a wide open Gibson under the basket. The Bear missed the shot, a Villian got the rebound and threw it to Spencer Wilson who threw up a shot from past half court that went off the glass and in for a 2 point victory.
No reviews were needed. No sad Kobe faces were seen.
See, the good guys don’t always win.
