You know all those exaggerated stories you see on NBA tapes with Magic Johnson or Barkley talking about the hangtime of Dr J or MJ and how they were able to do so many things in flight as if they were Kyrie Irving doing a cinematic dunk?

The reality is in the less than 1 second a person is in the air they can only do so much and that includes James Flight White who is capable of windmills and between the leg moves from the free throw line  although you wouldn’t know that if you just watched the last NBA dunk contest.   Last night, Blake Griffin did something that I have never seen anybody ever do.  He showed that his hangtime was long enough for him to start off with a George Gervin finger roll but then change his mind in mid air and end up dunking it.

Just the thought of that is as crazy as the thought of the Clippers beating the Lakers and clinching a Pacific Division Title 10-20 years ago.

If you want to hear some exaggerated stories and some of the best game dunks ever then here you go.
