Blake Griffin was just 1 assist shy of getting his 5th career triple double on Monday when he dropped 22 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists. Fantasy owners will still complain that he didn’t get a block (hasn’t had one in 5 games) but it’s great to see him with a season-high 16 rebounds considering he’s only had 15 or more 5 times last season.

After the game, Chris Paul talked about the Clipper’s “bread and butter.”

“This is our fourth year together and obviously your game changes and evolves and stuff like that, but we both realize our bread and butter used to be when I would attack downhill and he was rolling to the basket,” Paul said. “So we are trying to mix that in more.”
