I always wished this was an event at NBA AllStar weekend but if a “star” isn’t willing to lose a dunk contest then there’s no way he’s going to take the chance of doing a contest where he can end up on a poster. But how great would it be seeing guys like Blake Griffin, Paul George, Gerald Green and DeAndre Jordan taking turns trying to dunk on or block each other?
University of Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield thought he could block a Blake Griffin dunk attempt so Blake accepted Buddy’s challenge and just made a case why we need to see more of this from NBA stars.
