“Without Chris, everybody has to step up,” said Blake Griffin said on the absence of Chris Paul who sat out GM1 with a strained hamstring. “But it’s not one person’s job, it’s everybody’s job. And if you look at the stat sheet tonight, it was everybody.”

It was everybody but if you look at the stat sheet, what will stand out the most is Blake Griffin’s monster triple double of 26 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists.

“He’s incredible. He gets in the middle of the field and kind of just picks people apart like Tom Brady,” Barnes said. “That’s like a grown man triple-double right there.”

It was Blake’s second straight triple double and if that wasn’t impressive enough, Blake was also 8 of 10 from the free throw line in GM1 and was 10 of 11 during Saturday’s GM7 vs the Spurs.

Blake is playing on such a high level right now that nothing is surprising me – even hook shot 3-pointers (didn’t count).
