During the 3rd quarter of the Bulls and Clippers games, Blake Griffin was ejected for an unintentional looking flagrant 2 foul on Taj Gibson.

“I wasn’t trying to hit him in the face,” Griffin said. “There was no intent to hurt, or intent to even really hit him. I was going to try to hit the ball and he pump faked me.”

The ejection did seem to pump up the Clippers who were down by 14 at that point. They connected on 8 3-pointers and outscored the Bulls 26-19 in the 4th but still came up 3 points short.

Blake finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds in just 25 minutes.
