So what did Jason Smith do last night? He scored the most points (17 – Melo had 13) and made the most field goals (7 – Melo made 5 of 21) out of Knicks starters. He also had the block of the night when he rejected a Josh Smith dunk attempt. It was a nice block but Josh didn’t have much luck making anything. Smith missed 15 of his 17 field goal attempts, his only 3-pointer and 2 of his 6 free throws. He did finish with 8 points, 10 boards, 5 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks and got the W.
But Jason also gets a W in my book for what he did in just 26 minutes of PT.
