Branden Dawson Looks Like a Steal: 14pts, 11rebs & 1 windmill dunk vs the Thunder
I’m not saying a 6’6 forward who was selected with the 56th pick of the draft is going to replace DeAndre Jordan, but after 3 games in the summer league, rebounding beast Branden Dawson is looking like a nice rebound relationship. The former Michigan State star made his debut this weekend with 14 points and 14 rebounds in 27 minutes and last night Dawson had another big double double with 14 & 11. 7 of those 11 boards were on the offensive end.
“Branden’s been a big surprise,” Clippers CJ Wilcox said. “He’s doing everything we need him to do.”
Branden also threw down a nice windmill dunk which makes him look like a perfect fit in the lob city system.
