The lovely Serena Winters of Lakers Nation caught up Brandon Ingram at the Delta Beyond The Court program to discuss a mural being donated to The Covenant House California, summer workouts, goals for next season and changing the mechanics on his shot.
You might remember Ingram had a real rough start during his rookie season, shooting just 34% while averaging less than eight points a game in November and December. He finished the season shooting over 50% in the final month while averaging almost 14 points. His shooting percentage average in his three top scoring games (22, 21, 18) was 60%.
Brandon Ingram’s been spending a lot of time working on/fine-tuning his shot w/LAL’s staff. Focus on the release, really breaking it down.
