Did Brandon Jennings add 25 pounds of muscle this off season or not? I haven’t kept up with the muscle story but we did keep up with Jennings’ game during the Summer and saw him drop 50 points between dropping 57 and 56 at the Drew League.  I know it’s just pro-am games but I’m hoping it’s a sign that we are going to see more scoring from the often underrated guard who Sports Illustrated didn’t even put in their Top 100 Players list

Via SI:

“Jennings easily qualifies among the Drew League’s Top 100, but he needs to expand his game beyond glitzy passing and shameless shot-chucking if he wants to beef up his NBA rep and deliver on his 2009 lottery hype.”

“In fact, there’s an argument to be made that Jennings was one of the most damaging players in the league.”

Hopefully Jennings, like John Wall who was unhappy with his spot, uses this list as motivation and has a season that gives critics that feeling they had during the first month of his rookie season when writers were calling him a runaway winner for rookie of the year (Tyreke Evans ended up winning the award) and comparing him to Nate Archibald.
