Brandon Jennings tied a Piston’s franchise record in the 1st quarter with 11 assists and then tied Isiah Thomas for another franchise record by dishing out 16 assists in the first half. Surely the Pistons record of 25 assists in a game set by Thomas and Kevin Porter (twice) was in danger of being broken but Jennings only had 2 more assists in the game.
2 was the number of the night because it was Josh Smith’s 2 point shot with 1.2 seconds left in the game that gave the Pistons a 2 point victory over the Phoenix Suns.
As impressive as the Jenning’s passing exhibition was, it’s too bad he could not even get a double double out of it or tied/broke his career high of 19 (in a OT game). Oh well, atleast he got the W and assisted on some great highlights.
Brandon Jennings Career High 19 assists
