It was the post MJ Bulls era around 1998 or 99, Corey Benjamin throws down a dunk on the Nets’ Keith Van Horn late in the 4th quarter and he runs by the Nets bench and stares them down. The Nets’ starters on the bench respond by laughing because they were up by around 20. That story was the first thing that came to mind when I saw Carlos Boozer flexing after making a shot when the Lakers were down by 21 during their 33 point loss to the Jazz last night.
I’m not really surprised, we are talking about the same man who sued Prince and supposedly wanted to beat him up. Seriously, why would anyone want to beat up Prince? I don’t care if Prince did paint Boozer’s mansion purple and changed his master bedroom into a hair salon (true story folks). He’s Prince and he will make pancakes for you after playing basketball.
