In 2013, Charlie Villanueva was ejected for flagrant elbow to the King’s Isaiah Thomas. If this was the 80s and it was Charles Barkley elbowing the Piston’s Isiah Thomas, there would of been some shoving by the bad boys against Dr J and Moses and then Thomas would of shot 2 free throws and the game would of went on without any players hitting the showers early.
I understand the refs don’t want excessive aggressiveness out there but between this and Dwight Howard’s ejection for his foul on Kenneth Faried things are getting softer than a low post battle between Andrea Bargnani and Pau Gasol.
