Chase Adams is probably best known for his Ballislife highlight mixes. Every time the 2018 Orr Academy point guard steps on the floor he has a target on his back.
This season (his first at Chicago Orr Academy), Chase and the Spartans are the preseason #1 team in the Chicago Sun Times poll (Chicago area). Their goal is to win city and defend their 2A Illinois state title.
With Chase Adams at PG, Orr is led by returning starters Raekwon Drake, Ty Mosley (UW Milwaukee commit), Dannie Smith and excellent role players like Brian Hernandez and Emanuel Oneal.
Tyler Herro (2018 Whitnall) is one of the top shooters in the nation. The recent Kentucky commit opened his senior season versus Orr at Washington Tournament of Champions near Peoria.
In the end, Orr came out on top 83-56. Raekwon Drake was named MVP finishing with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 blocks. Chase Adams finished with 12 points and tournament record 12 assists! Brian Hernandez added 19 points, Dannie Smith 14 points 5 assists, Ty Mosley 11 points 6 rebounds. Emanuel ONeal finished with 9 rebounds and 2 thunderous dunks in the closing minutes!
Tyler Herro finished with 18 points for Whitnall. He had multiple defenders covering him all night.
