Chicago Orr is the local Sun Times' preseason #1 team. Led by 2018 point guard Chase Adams, Wisconsin-Milwaukee commit Ty Mosely, Raekwon Drake and Dannie Smith, Orr (defending 2A state champs) are
hoping to win Chicago's city title.
Their first Chicago public league game of the season puts Orr against Curie. This was Curie's first game of the season so jitters are expected. Curie transfer, D1 PG Maurice Commander wasn't cleared to play by gametime so transfer Marquise Walker ran the point.
Commander was cleared the next day. Curie is also led by the Martin brothers, Treavon Martin and Tyree Martin. Combined they're one of Chicago's best and biggest front court.
The game was held at a neutral site (IIT) on a college court to accommodate the crowds. It was loud and packed!
