Chris Paul’s double double of 21 points and 16 assists tied him with Elton Brand’s franchise record of 6 double doubles in a post season. That double double also resulted in 51 of the team’s total 102 points and the production started early with a crossover move on Westbrook and lob to DeAndre Jordan to give the Clippers a 7-0 lead to start the game. But it was all Thunder to end the game.
“They got everything,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said. “They got 3s, layups, key second shots. Down the stretch, they made every big play. We had shots, too, and they didn’t go in. We put way too much pressure on our offense because our defense wasn’t working.”
